Poole Pottery is still designed and made in England. Each piece is handpainted and therefore unique, combining traditional skills with contemporary design.
Living Glaze is used to decorate each item. This involves the application of different glazes which react with one another to achieve the unique results you see on each product.
Fine surface cracking is a natural result of the process and will continue to develop as the piece matures. If you listen carefully, you can may hear the glaze continuing to move against the clay.
