Possibly the prettiest of 2018’s additions are our crystals and stones; from agate crystal bookends and selenite lamps to smaller ornamental pieces, they are sure to shimmer and shine anywhere in your home and will make lovely gifts.
Danish and Scandinavian brands and designs were very noticeable this year in interiors, albeit in an understated Scandi way. House Doctor and the new Monograph brand from the House Doctor group, along with Bloomingville and Normann Copenhagen, were some of the Scandi stars of 2018.
Italian design brand Seletti made an impression this year with their quirky lamps, with highlights including the Seletti Mouse lamps in Gold, the new Bird Lamps and of course Jobby The Cat, designed in collaboration with Studio Job.
Orla Kiely's striking retro inspired patterns continued to stand out in 2018. Uplifting, cheerful yellow and orange, plus her stylish Rose pink colourway, were seen in many publications and several sought-after new designs were added to her collection.
One of the biggest trends of 2018 and showing no signs of fading, gold has been everywhere in interiors magazines and homes this year.
