Doing Goods create quirky and one-off handmade accessories for the home, including their charming wool animal rugs and other decorative and functional additions.
Founded in 2010 and based in the Netherlands, Doing Goods are inspired by the quirky, imperfect and one-offs, leading to the creation of their unique handmade home accessories. They travel the world collecting trinkets and items to bring home to the Netherlands, which feed the designers' imaginations in the process of making Doing Goods designs. Everything is “handmade with love” in a pink painted workshop that they built in India in collaboration with a family business they met on their travels, who are now a fully-fledged member of the Doing Goods family.
Looking after their staff is important to Doing Goods, as is working respectfully with the communities they visit. Doing Goods mission is to bring a little happiness and cheer to people's lives near and far. They try to achieve this by creating soulful products that not only find their way into people's homes, but also their hearts. They try to give everyone the opportunity to find their own wabi-sabi treasures. The wabi-sabi interiors trend is inspired by the same concept in Japanese traditional aesthetics; a world view centred on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
We offer an extensive range of Doing Goods wool animal rugs including their Drowsy Tiger rug and more, plus other decorative and functional home accessories, many of which will make lovely gifts for a number of occasions. We aim to bring you the most original and latest designs from this upcoming brand.
